Vacancy - INDEPENDENT COOK
You help with the preparatory work, such as washing, cutting, mixing, passing and much more. You also help with planning the daily work, keeping the stock up and passing all the dishes.
What will you do?
As chef de partie, you will steer and work in a young and driven team. You will work in a new modern kitchen. During dinner, you make sure that you steer your own partie in the right way and make sure the guests get the best possible prepared dishes.
What are you good at?
You are good at managing people. You are patient and can teach people new things. You know how to process and store fresh produce. As a cook, you work neatly and consistently. As chef de partie, you are able to communicate clearly with your colleagues.
What do we expect from you?
You are in possession of a level 3 chef's diploma (experience desirable).
You are flexible and proactive.
You enjoy working in a team.

The team
You will work in a young and dynamic team. This under the leadership of Chef Martin Philipse. Because the restaurant is always open, you will work with all other colleagues. Once inside kitchen team Le Sommet, you can expect a close and friendly relationship with your colleagues.

What does a day look like?
At 10 am, the working day starts, it starts for you by making a work schedule and division of tasks. After this, you will carry out the mise en place on the partie. Cleaning the kitchen for dinner service. After dinner, you will prepare dishes or components and manage your own partie. This is where the guest's wishes take centre stage, which we also try to accommodate as much as possible. After dinner, the kitchen is cleaned. While enjoying a closing drink of your choice, the tips and tops of the day are discussed.
